The 11th edition of Fajr International Poem Festival is to wrap up tomorrow.
The closing ceremony of the 11th edition of Fajr International Poem Festival is to be held on March 8 in the holy city of Mashhad.
Having kicked off on January 25, 2017 in the city of Kashan, the festival has a special section dedicated to the poem of Afghanistan.
Fajr Festivals are annually held in Iran during the Fajr Decade (literally meaning ten days of dawn) which marks the anniversary of the ten days from the return of Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic, to Iran (February 1) until the victory day of the Islamic Revolution (February 11) in 1979.
Fajr Festivals include Fajr Film Festival, Fajr Theater Festival, Fajr Poem Festival, Fajr Music Festival and Fajr Festival of Visual Arts.
